Specialty Leasing Pokerfest

The second annual Specialty Leasing Pokerfest proved just as lively and entertaining as the first. Held Friday night from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am at The Colonnade Hotel's Huntington Ballroom, a field of 98 players at 10 tables was whittled down to the top eight, who all qualified for prizes. The event, sponsored by Gift Giant, NYS Collection, and Specialty Retail Report magazine, drew crowds of poker players and spectators.

Throughout the evening, Michael Brielmann, president and CEO of Gift Giant, called the hands, to the entertainment of all within earshot. Dealers were decked out in casino-style vests and visors to set the stage for the serious poker playing that ensued.

No matter how they played, all participants walked away with a free pair of shades, compliments of NYS Collection.
