Sunglass Hut seeks brighter image with new look

Sunglass Hut has come a long way since Dr. Sanford Ziff starting selling sunglasses from a kiosk at Dadeland Mall in 1971.

Then the business was a sideline for Ziff's optometry practice and the focus was on functional glasses for eye protection. Now sunglasses by the likes of Prada, Versace and Fendi have become the must-have fashion accessory for everyone from movie stars to the South Beach party crowd.
