Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a way of having SpecialtyRetail.com headlines, story summaries, and links to full-length articles delivered to your desktop, or added to your blog or website.
Simply look for the orange RSS graphic
on the "Read by Topic" pages. Mouse over the image, right-click, and copy the URL. (Choose "Copy Shortcut" for Internet Explorer, "Copy Link Location" for Netscape and Mozilla, or "Copy Link Address" for Opera). In your news reader, select the option that adds a new feed or channel, then paste in the URL and click OK.
There are a number of ways to access RSS feeds. You can install a news reader (a news reader—or aggregator—is the application used to view headlines via RSS) that displays RSS feeds from the websites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once. After installing the news reader, you can add each feed manually from the website. To download a news reader, you can select any number of readers or aggregators for free download. If you use a Mac, you can select to receive the feeds in your Mail inbox, or in your Safari browser.
